Monica Zebold-Bell

Director, Contracts & Risk Management

Monica is the Director of Contracts and Risk Management for OBAN Corporation. She is experienced in writing, negotiating, and winning proposals for government and commercial contracts. Using these skills, she makes sure that OBAN and their partners are fulfilling customer requirements and creating effective strategies for the contracts OBAN pursues.

Monica has held positions offering professional services in engineering, information technology, and environmental science.  She has worked with companies of all sizes as an effective subject matter expert as well as leading cradle-to-grave prime and subcontract management.

She holds a Bachelor of Science from San Diego State University in Business Administration, Finance, and is currently an instructor with San Diego State University’s Professional Certificate of Contract Management Program.  She is a 35-year member of the National Contract Management Association (NCMA) and has been active in the Northern VA Chapter, Greater Cincinnati Chapter, and currently her local San Diego chapter.

She uses her experience and dedication by investing in her church and community. She is active in Mission Circle, an organization committed to helping those in need in San Diego County and Tijuana, Mexico.  Another passion is the Interfaith Shelter Network, which provides resources to homeless individuals and families, enabling them to move toward self-sufficiency. Finally, Monica enjoys teaching youth and guiding them in their journey to better education and employment opportunities.
