Tony Baldwin

Director of Sales & Business Development

As Director of Sales and Business Development Mr. Baldwin is responsible for OBAN’s Federal, State and Local Businesses; New Program Initiatives and Client engagements. He has extensive experience managing global brands with special expertise in client relations, developing and executing, Strategic Plan objectives, administering Corporate Outreach Initiatives.

Prior to joining the OBAN Corporation Mr. Baldwin was the Director of Strategy and Operations for CMT Services, Inc. (CMT) During his tenure with CMT’s revenues grew over 52% and the Company received several International, Regional and Local Awards & Recognitions including INC. 5000 Fastest growing Small Business List, American Express 50 Fastest growing women-owned Companies globally, Top 100 MBE in the Middle Atlantic region and a Prince George’s County Council Proclamation

Prior to CMT, Mr. Baldwin was a Sales and Marketing professional for more than 20 (Twenty) years. He created and led marketing and branding campaigns with consumer products and several brands in all media platforms. He held Senior-Level decision making positions and led the sales and marketing divisions for several global lifestyle brands including: The Rockport Company (Director of Sales-Department Stores), Dockers Footwear (Vice President National Accounts), ECCO USA (National Sales Manager), Sperry Top-Sider (Vice President-East) and Steve Madden’s Men’s division (New Business Development Manager).

As a Buyer of Footwear for the former Woodward and Lothrop/John Wanamaker (Washington, D.C.) Mr. Baldwin built his reputation as a ‘fashion innovator’ and was recognized for being the first department store Footwear Buyer to introduce such brands as Reebok, Fila, Timberland, and Kenneth Cole that today are mainstream lifestyle consumer brands!

Mr. Baldwin, a native of Raeford, North Carolina, attended The American University in Washington, D.C. as a Frederick Douglas Scholar where he received his B.A. Degrees in Sociology and Communications. He later pursued graduate studies in Public Administration. He’s an avid college basketball fan especially his beloved Carolina Tar Heels.
