OBAN Corporation partnered with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) to develop a data-driven succession planning strategy that ensures leadership continuity and workforce sustainability. Our team conducted workforce assessments, leadership interviews, and competency evaluations to identify high-risk positions, skill gaps, and future staffing needs. Through talent identification efforts and success profile development, we created a scalable succession model to standardize talent management and competency alignment across FMCSA divisions.
We provided executive briefings, workforce analytics, and strategic recommendations, enabling FMCSA to proactively manage workforce transitions, mitigate knowledge loss, and enhance leadership development. By facilitating targeted working sessions and program office collaborations, OBAN integrated succession planning into FMCSA’s long-term workforce strategy, ensuring the agency remains prepared to meet evolving mission demands.
