Tholes is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of OBAN. As such, he oversees the capital structure of the company and all transactions, following profits and expenditures to maintain the best mix of debt and equity while always seeking opportunities for growth.
Tholes has been in finance for over 25 years for organizations from Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs) to government contractors to private sector clients. His last role was in government contracting for 17 years. He served as an accountant, then moved to Director of Finance, where he oversaw every aspect of present and future finances. His duties included reporting to the executives on a monthly basis, managing funds to improve the financial position of the company, and communicating with lenders. He has experience in various financial and managerial positions.
Tholes earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Business and Economics Study and an MBA from Strayer University. He serves as the treasurer on the board of Minds, Inc., a nonprofit organization, and also volunteers with his church. In his free time, he loves to read and is a huge sports fan.
